I went in thinking I’d be able to really set up my gear exactly how I wanted, but the customization options ended up being disappointing. There just weren’t many choices for colors or different setup details, and I kept clicking around trying to figure out what parts I could actually change versus what was just shown in the pictures. Maybe I missed something, but if it’s there, it definitely wasn’t obvious. For the price, I expected a lot more control and a clearer process. I spent more time than I planned messing with it, got frustrated, and ended up leaving the site without ordering. It just wasn’t the custom experience I was looking for.

My order showed up and, for the most part, everything was fine. I was already putting things away and thinking I was done, then noticed one small item wasn’t the right one. Not a huge deal, just a little annoying because the rest of it was exactly what I needed.

The fabric and stitching feel super solid. I’ve used my gear a few times now, and it definitely doesn’t feel cheap at all. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the price feels a bit high, but the material quality is really good.

I was really hoping this bug net would do the job, but unfortunately it left gaps around the zipper area. Because of that, bugs still got in and I ended up getting bitten throughout the night. For the price, I expected better coverage, so yeah, it was disappointing.

It was okay for the first few trips, but the seams started wearing out quickly. I’m not totally sure if I got a bad one, but it definitely didn’t seem like it was going to hold up for long.

I used my Warbonnet setup on a rainy weekend trip, and for the most part it did its job. That said, once the wind started blowing sideways, I still got some splash near the ends, which was annoying. The material feels sturdy and well made, but getting the pitch right definitely took more fiddling than I would have liked. It’s not a bad piece of gear by any means, but politely, for the price, I expected better coverage in rough weather.

After a few nights out, I noticed the straps would slip a little, and I kept having to readjust the sag. It wasn’t a total dealbreaker, but when you’re tired, cold, and trying to do it in the dark, it gets annoying fast.
The customer info was fine, and maybe this setup just wasn’t the right fit for me. Still, for the price, I expected the suspension to be easier and more reliable. If I were buying again, I’d probably choose a different suspension system.

Overall, it’s decent gear, and it does the job, but, I did notice some stitching issues. The quality feels okay for the price, just, not quite as finished as I’d hoped

I really wanted to be happy with the gear, and maybe I’m being too picky here, but the whole return/warranty process was frustrating. There were way too many back-and-forth emails, and it felt like I kept having to prove what happened instead of just getting things handled. Maybe other people had a smoother experience, but for me it was slow, annoying, and not really worth the hassle.

I bought a hammock from Warbonnet it ended up being about as comfortable as I was hoping for.
